Goldberg Earns CAA Co-Player of the Week Honors

Philadelphia – The Colonial Athletic Association has named Drexel’s junior forward Andrew Goldberg (Southampton, Pa./William Tennent) a Co-Player of the Week for the week ending on Sept. 5. Goldberg scored three goals on the week in a pair of Drexel wins. The sophomore striker scored the last of five second-half goals in the 88th minute of Drexel’s 5-0 win over Canisius in its season opener.

Women's Soccer

Ashley Klun scored the game-winning goal for Drexel in a 1-0 win over UMBC in the women's soccer season opener at Vidas Field. Klun netted her first strike of the season with less than seven minutes left in the contest.
