Men's Crew to Send Four to IRA National Championships

Camden, N.J. - Drexel Director of Rowing Paul Savell will be sending a varsity four to the IRA National Championships on the Cooper River on Thursday, June 3. The event features the top collegiate programs in men's crew and will determine the sport's collegiate national champion.
The Drexel four of stroke Greg Pierce, Ness Del Valle, Kyle Fable, and bow Brian Timlin along with coxswain Cate Khella will compete at 11:00 a.m. in a heat that also features Wisconsin, Loyola, Yale, Holy Cross and Temple. The top two boats from the heat will advance to the semifinals while the other four boats will move to the repechage.
