Men's Soccer Closes Out Preseason at Soccer Six Scrimmages

Philadelphia - This Saturday, Drexel men's soccer will play it's final exhibition match of the preseason before opening it's 2010 schedule. The Dragons, who are defending Soccer Six co-champions, will travel to La Salle to participate in the Philadelphia Soccer Six Preseason Scrimmage Day with a 3:00 p.m. match against city rival Saint Joseph's.
The Scrimmage Day is a free event hosted at La Salle's McCarthy Stadium which features all six of Philadelphia's Div. I soccer programs, has become a tradition in recent years for the Dragons. Drexel and Saint Joseph's open the day at 3:00 and are followed by Penn vs. Temple at 5:00 p.m. and La Salle v. Villanova in the nightcap.
The Dragons open their regular-season schedule next Wednesday, Sept. 1 against Canisius at home in a 4:00 p.m. match.
