Damion Lee Picks up Third CAA Rookie of the Week Award

Philadelphia - Drexel's Damion Lee has once again been honored by the Colonial Athletic Association. The freshman was named the CAA Co-Rookie of the Week, marking the third time Lee has picked up Rookie of the Week honors.
Lee, a guard, averaged 13.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in Drexel's CAA victories over James Madison and Hofstra this week. The Baltimore native scored 12 points at James Madison and recorded 15 points in the home victory against Hofstra. For the week, Lee shot 52.9% from the floor and was 7-for-9 from the free throw line as the Dragons increased their winning streak to 13 games.
Lee has started every game this season and is averaging 12.2 points per game, the second highest total on the team. He is also averaging 4.4 rebounds and leads the team with 44 three-pointers. The first-year player is shooting 46 percent from the floor, 37 percent from long range and is making 77 percent of his free throws.
The Dragons are 21-5 on the season and 13-2 in CAA play. They are tied with George Mason and VCU for first place in the CAA with three league games to play.
