Today was by far the most fun yet in my opinion. Competing in Drexel's very own version of the Amazing Race not only made us as teammates closer, but a program as a whole. Parents, alumni, coaches, staff, and even our very own athletic director Dr. Zilmer competed. It gave us all a chance to see different sides of each other we otherwise would never have had the chance to witness. It was a great community event. What made it even better, my team won! I was joined by Rodney Williams, Class of '17, and Tyshawn Myles, Class of '18.
This season we have a lot of new faces and an entire new dynamic of people in the locker room. The idea to do this competition was very beneficial to the chemistry of our basketball team, and I believe we will come back to the States with a greater understanding of each other, not only as players, but as people. Personally, I have learned a lot of things about my teammates on this trip, and I am very happy that I was able to share this experience with my brothers.
