Men's Squash Shuts Out No. 22 Dickinson Saturday in Season Opener, 9-0

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 7 Drexel men's squash team rolled to a 9-0 shutout victory Saturday afternoon in its season opener over No. 22 Dickinson at the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
Junior standout Bransten Ming started the afternoon off with a 11-6, 11-7, 11-5 sweep of Abdelrahman Elsergany, followed by Lucas Rousselet, who gutted out a five-game victory over Finn Trimble at No. 2, 7-11, 11-6, 11-8, 9-11, 11-7. Atticus Kelly fought his way to the win after dropping the first game over Frank Goossens at No. 3, 4-11, 11-5, 11-1, 11-7, while Dylan Kachur earned his first career victory at No. 4 over Sergio Martin, 11-4, 16-14, 11-9. Nat Fry swept his match at No. 5 over Hal Holappa, 11-5, 11-6, 11-7, followed by Joshua Hughes' sweep over Cory Litman, 11-6, 11-8, 11-9. Noel Solomon took care of business at No. 6 against Alexander Wattles, 11-7, 11-4, 11-5, while Cillian Dunne and Royston Raymond each earned four-game wins to close out the sweep. Dunne beat Vincent Warzecha, 11-3, 12-10, 11-13, 11-3, and Raymond outlasted Andrew Strudwick, 11-13, 11-5, 11-8, 15-13.
