2016: Made 37 appearances as a rookie and got the start 29 times…hit .195 from the plate with 17 hits, including one double and two home runs…recorded 15 runs batted in and five runs scored.
Background: A four-year varsity starter for Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, Calif....her Dos Pueblos squad won the Channel League Championship all four of her years there...was named to First Team All-Channel League in her senior season...a member of the National Honor Society and a CFS lifetime member.
Personal: Daughter of Jon and Dora Uyesaka...has two younger siblings, Rocky and Josy...majoring in mechanical engineering.
