The 1955 football team was the first and only Drexel football team to go an entire season without a loss. The Dragons finished the year with an 8-0 record. The defense held all of its opponents to 14 points or less. Drexel won every game by at least seven points.
Edward B. Allen was the head coach of the Dragons in 1955. Bill Zador threw for nine touchdowns, setting the Drexel mark. Hall of Famer Vince Vidas was named a Little All-American as a lineman for the Dragons.
