The Drexel women’s basketball team posted back to back undefeated seasons in 1965-66 and in 1966-67. During the first of those two seasons, the Dragons outscored their opposition by almost 28 points per contest. They allowed just under 27 points per game on their way to a 7-0 record.
The following season, the Dragons again dominated their opponents. Drexel averaged almost 59 points per game while giving up just over 32 points. The Dragons were 8-0 during the 1966-67 campaign. Three of the team members, Janet Lamon, Carol Wurster and Janice Shapiro have been inducted into the Drexel Athletics Hall of Fame.
