Anthoyn Giuliante was one of the finest guards to play football at Drexel. A three-year letterwinner, he helped lead the Dragons to an 18-7 record. As a senior, he was named the recipient of the West Philadelphia Lions Club Award and the PAL Award as the most outstanding football player in the city and also was the Maxwell Award winner. A co-captain in 1965, he was a First Team All-MAC Southern Division All-Star and received ECAC All-East Southern Division honors. Giuliante captured Second Team honors on the MAC Southern Division All-Star team as a junior and was an Honorable Mention pick as a sophomore. He was also a member of both the freshman wrestling and football teams in 1962. Giuliante culminated his collegiate career by serving as an assistant coach for the freshman football team in 1966. He graduated in 1967.
