Carol Wurster Hyun was a three-sport letterwinner during her career at Drexel. She played four seasons of basketball, field hockey and lacrosse and was awarded 12 varsity letters. .
Wurster Hyun was a two year captain for both the basketball and lacrosse team. She led the basketball team to its first ever undefeated season, when she averaged 16.7 points per game. She led her lacrosse team in scoring and was an Honorable Mention All-College Field Hockey performer in both 1964 and 1965 as well. As a senior, Wurster Hyun was named the 1967 Drexel University Athlete of the Year.
