Edgar Stier lettered in two sports while an undergraduate at Drexel. He played for four seasons on both the men’s lacrosse and men’s soccer teams. He served as the men’s soccer team captain in both his junior and senior years.
As a senior, Stier had the rare distinction of being named an All-America in both sports. He was named a soccer All-America in 1950 and was a two-time honorable mention All-America in both 1949 and 1950. He won the Drexel Alumni Varsity Club award, which is presented to the Outstanding Senior Athlete at the school. Stier graduated from Drexel in 1951. He was named to the Drexel Lacrosse 75th Anniversary Team.
