Eileen Shaughnessy Kuehn was a three-year letterwinner on the women’s basketball team. During her career, the Lady Dragons compiled a 28-6 record, including an 11-1 mark as a junior. Shaughnessy put up some of the most remarkable numbers in women’s basketball history at Drexel. In her 33-game career at Drexel, Shaughnessy averaged 14.1 points and a school-record 20.9 rebounds. She also had 76 blocks, 85 assists and shot .505 from the floor. She scored 20 points and amassed 44 rebounds in a 52-43 win against Chestnut Hill in the most dominating individual performance in Drexel women’s basketball history.
