Hluschak is one of just two All-American wrestlers in Drexel history. He earned the distinction in 2007 in the 157-pound weight class at the NCAA Championships. Hluschak defeated opponents from Iowa, Lehigh and Missouri before upsetting the second-seed with a takedown with 29 seconds left in overtime in Auburn Hills, Mich. Hluschak, the 2008 John Semanik Award winner, was a three-time NCAA Qualifier and finished his Drexel career second all-time at the school in wins (121) and career falls (30). He was a three-time F.C. Walton Award winner (team's MVP) and was named to the CAA and the Amateur Wrestling News All-Rookie teams. In the classroom, Hluschak was a four-time NWCA Academic All-American, a two-time CAA Scholar Athletic and the Philadelphia Inquirer's Performer of the Year in 2008.
