Dragons Bow Out on Day Two of Wilson/ITA Northeast Regionals

New Haven, Conn. - Both of Drexel's entrants in Saturday's Main Draw singles and doubles brackets took first round exits at the Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Tournament hosted by Yale. Gozde Unkaya fell in her first singles match and she and Emma Brook were knocked out of doubles contention as well.
Unkaya and Brook opened the day with an 8-4 loss to Harvard's Samantha Grindley and Alexandra Lehman. Later in the day Unkaya faced Albany's Susan Ma and dropped a tough 6-4, 6-2 match to exit the tournnament.
The weekend tournament was also the culmination of the Dragons fall season. As a team Drexel went 3-1 in dual matches this fall.

Samantha Gridley/Alexandra Lehman (Harvard) def. Emma Brook/Gozde Unkaya 8-4
