Soccer Six Rivals Clash When Drexel Hosts Villanova in Men's Soccer This Saturday

Philadelphia - Fresh of a scintillating 5-0 thrashing of Canisius in their season opener on Wednesday, the Drexel Dragons will welcome Philadelphia Soccer Six foe Villanova to Vidas Field for a 3:00 p.m. match on Saturday. The Wildcats (1-0) are coming off a 2-1 overtime win against Bucknell in their opener.

Malcolm LeBourne and Brandon Zeller each recorded a goal in an assist in Drexel's dominant victory on Wednesday. In all, five different Dragons found the net for Drexel with all five goals coming in the second half. Sophomore keeper Tim Washam made six stops for his first clean sheet of the season as the Dragons handed first-year Head Coach Doug Hess his first victory at Drexel.
Last Meeting: The Dragons last met the Wildcats on September 14, 2007 at Vidas Field in a 0-3 loss, Drexel's first on the season. Sophomore Mike Seaman tallied twice for the Wildcats while Junior Joe Taylor capped the scoring, all within the first 30 minutes of play. Drexel turned the momentum around in the second half with eight shots and eight corners but was unable to convert on any attempts.
