Eight Dragons Named EIWA All-Academic

PHILADELPHIA – Eight members of the Drexel wrestling team were honored as EIWA All-Academic honorees. EIWA Academic Achievement Award winners must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and represent Drexel in the EIWA Tournament or have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and represent Drexel at the EIWA's and NCAA Championships. The conference recognized 101 wrestlers for their achievements on and off the mat.
F&M's James Conway topped the list for both the EIWA and the entire field of wrestlers at the NCAA Championships. He received the NCAA's Elite 90 Award, as the wrestler (of 330 participants) in the NCAA Championship with the highest GPA.
