Dragons Ready for Second Big 5 Test at Saint Joseph's

PHILADELPHIA- The Drexel women's basketball team is set to play its second pod game of the Women's Big 5 against the Saint Joseph's Hawks on Saturday, November 29 at 2 p.m. The winner of Saturday's game will punch their ticket to the Toyota Women's Big 5 Classic Championship Game on December 6 at the Finneran Pavilion on the campus of Villanova. Action from Hagan Arena on Saturday can be seen on NBC Sports Philadelphia and ESPN+.

The Drexel women's basketball team was defeated by the NJIT Highlanders 73-66 on Saturday afternoon at NJIT's Wellness and Athletic Center in Newark, N.J.
Amaris Baker became 28th player in program history to score 1000 points in a Drexel uniform after scoring her fourth point in today's contest. The graduate student finished the game with a career-high 35 points and 11 rebounds, marking the second double-double of her career. Her rebound total was also a career-high.
NJIT held the lead for the full duration of the game. After falling behind by double-digits in the first quarter, Drexel was only able to get within three points.
