Isabell etched his name into the Drexel record book Thursday night becoming just the fifth men's player to score 40 points in a game and the first to do so since Michael Anderson poured in 42 against Rider on Feb. 27, 1988. The junior from Seattle, Wash. shot 14-for-23 from the field and 7-for-11 from deep en route to a monster line of 40 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals as the Dragons came back to beat Elon, 83-79. Isabell then helped lead the Dragons to a dramatic 68-67 victory Sunday on Homecoming over Northeastern, which came into the game first in the CAA standings. He scored a game-high 21 points to go with seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, as well as the game-tying and -winning free throws in the final seconds of play. He was also named CAA Co-Player of the Week and the Lou Henson National Player of the Week.
