Chuck Pennoni is the recipient of the 2014 Athletic Director Legacy Award presented by President John Fry. The award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to Drexel Athletics.
Pennoni, who was the Interim President at Drexel in 1994-95 and again in 2009-10, was a university trustee from 1993-2006 and served as Chairman of the Board from 1997-2003. Pennoni, whose name the Pennoni Honors College bears, created the Drexel Athletic Club Golf Outing, which has raised over $1.5 million for the university.
