Edward Marsh was a member of the varsity football team at Drexel from 1928-1932. He was a standout tackle on both offense and defense and player every minute of every game during the 1929 season. During his five-year career, the Dragons amassed a 32-10-3 mark. He was a captain of the 1932 squad that finished 5-1-1. During the 1931 season, Marsh also made a name for himself by throwing the ball. He was 6-for-6 against Rutgers and in the season finale against St. Joseph’s, he threw two 65-yard touchdown passes to Frank Burns. The Dragons were 7-1 that season. In 1929, Marsh was selected to the Haverford College All-Opponents team and in 1928, he was a member of a defense that recorded six shutouts in 10 games.
