Frank Garofolo was a three-year starter at tackle from 1957-59 and was named Little All-American Honorable Mention and Third Team All-State in 1959. Garofolo served as President and Treasurer of the Varsity Club team and earned the Alumni Varsity Club Award for Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1962. Garofolo was also selected to play in the Gem City Bowl 1959. In 1961, Garofolo was honored with the Sigma Alpha Mu Award for Outstanding Junior Athlete and the West Philadelphia Lions Club Award in 1962 for most outstanding player on the team. Garofolo was a recipient of the “D” Award after earning five varsity letters upon graduating in 1962. Garofolo was also a two year varsity letter winner Men’s Lacrosse.
