Harry Fox was a three-sport letterwinner at Drexel. He completed his career with a total of six varsity letters, three each in baseball and football and one in basketball. A dynamic fullback, Fox helped lead the football team to an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference title as a senior in 1937. The versatile athlete, who was named team MVP, also took on duties as the team’s punter throughout the season.
On the baseball diamond, Fox used his speed to patrol the outfield. The two-year team captain was also dangerous at the plate, earning the Eastern Pennsylvania batting title as a senior. After graduating in 1937 with a degree in business administration, he went on a to a career in school administration, and served as athletics director for the Upper Merion School District.
