Janice Shapiro was a key member of two undefeated women’s basketball teams at Drexel. She was a starter on both the 1965-66 and 1966-67 teams, which won a combined 16 straight games. Shapiro, who lettered for four seasons, averaged just under 13 points per game in her career.

A 1969 graduate, Shapiro also played three seasons of field hockey while at Drexel. She participated in the All-Sectional Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament team.
