Jean Marie Williams, class of 1984, was a member of the first Drexel women’s basketball team to play at the Division I level. A PAIAW All-Star as a junior and a senior, Williams finisher her career as the all-time leading rebounder in both Drexel and East Coast Conference history with 953 boards. She averaged a double-double with 10.8 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior. She finished 18th in the nation in rebounds that season. Williams had three of the top nine individual rebounding seasons in her years at Drexel and set the school record with 332 caroms in 1983. She finished her career with 799 points.
