Joyce Keller was one of Drexel’s most dominant female swimmers during the period of time when the Dragons competed in the Pennsylvania Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (PAIAW). Keller was a two-time All-America selection and set five individual records while leading Drexel to three PAIAW Championships during her career.

At one point in her career, Keller held all of Drexel’s breaststroke records as well as the top marks for 100- and 200-yard IM. Keller also set the standard in the PAIAW for the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, a mark which she set as a senior, and 100-yard IM.
