Louisa Willcox Sweeney earned 12 varsity letters in her career at Drexel. She was a member of the women’s basketball, field hockey, tennis and badminton teams. Sweeney was a standout field hockey player who was named a Fourth Team All-College All-America selection.
On the tennis court, Sweeney won the 1959 Eastern States Clay Court Championships and was ranked in both Philadelphia and the Middle States.
