Thomas Staszak played on Drexel’s football team for four seasons. He was a two-time All-American. Staszak earned All-America status in both 1950 and 1951.

Staszak was a ball-hawking linebacker during his days at Drexel. He twice led the team in tackles. Staszak was a major contributor on the defense that allowed just 53 points in seven games during the 1950 season. That team shutout its opposition on two occasions and finished the year 6-1. He graduated from Drexel in 1951.
