William Zador

William Zador played both football and baseball for three seasons at Drexel. He was a captain of both teams during his final season on campus. His teams went 18-5 during his three seasons, and he quarterbacked the 1955 team that was a perfect 8-0.
Zador, a 1959 graduate, was named a Small College All-American after his junior year. He received the Lions Club Award as the Most Valuable Player as a sophomore and won the Sigma Alpha Mu Award as the MVP as a junior. After his senior year, he received both the Varsity Club Award and the Lt. Greene Memorial Award as the Drexel’s outstanding senior athlete. He had a tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles after graduating in 1959.
