Men's Tennis Closes Out Fall Season With 6-1 Win Over Delaware State

Philadelphia - Drexel's men's tennis team closed out its fall schedule with a convincing 6-1 victory over Delaware State on the Drexel Courts. The Dragons lost just one match in singles play and won two on the doulbles side to clinch the team point. Drexel finishes its autumn slate with a perfect 3-0 record.

The top singles performance of the day was that of newcomer Alessandro Bozzo who shutout Phillip Scott in straight sets at fifth singles. Nikoloz Kurdadze, Manu Bajpai and Bryan Nguyen also registered victories on the singles side.

In doubles play Bagpai teamed with Nguyen to top Brian Geilis and Milos Velickovic 8-4. And Alex Barnes and Neil Mirchandani defeated Roman Pitatelev and Phillip Scott 8-3 to claim the team point.
