Dragons Take Flight at Saint Joseph's Invitational This Weekend

Philadelphia - Five Dragons will be in action this weekend at the Saint Joseph's Women's Tennis Invitational, looking for a strong follow-up to their fall opener at the Cissie Leary Invitational last week. Doubles teams of Gozde Unkaya and Emma Brook and Sonja Stosic and Zeynep Mafa will be in action on Friday afternoon, while singles play opens on Saturday on Hawk Hill.
In Friday's Flight 1 Doubles draw, Unkaya and Brook will play Liza Blank and Austin Denesuk from Lafayette at 2:00 p.m. at the Maguire Campus Tennis Complex. In the Flight 2 draw, Stosic and Mafa will challenge Mary Washington's Danielle Velardi and Lauren Gaspar at 2:00 p.m. at the Finnesey Courts.
In the morning session on Saturday, Elise Leizerovich will play Morgan State's Alexis McCoy at 8:30 a.m. at the SJU Tennis Complex at the Maguire Campus. Also at the Maguire Campus at 8:30, Gozde Unkaya will challenge Villanova's Amanda Nelson.
At the Finnesey Courts at 8:30 a.m., Sonja Stosic will play Viktoriya Lukyanenko of Morgan State. Emma Brook will face Saint Joseph's Melissa Glick at 10:00 a.m. and Zeynep Mafa will take on Delaware's Ivana Petrich at 10:30 a.m. both matches will be at the Maguire Campus complex.
