PHILADELPHIA - In their first dual match of the fall season, the Drexel women's tennis team rolled through their battle with Monmouth, winning a 7-0 decision.

Drexel took all three doubles matches to grab the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead right off the bat. Zeynep Mafa and Marcela Rosales won 8-0, with Emma Brook and Sonja Stosic doing the same. At Number 3 doubles, Alex Bell and Aysenil Orhon cruised to an 8-2 victory.

Moving along to singles play, Stosic kept up the whitewashing, rolling to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 4. Playing atop the Dragons' singles ladder, Mafa knocked out her opponent, 6-0, 6-1. Brook did the same at No. 2, as did Bell at No. 5. Orhon earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6 singles, while Rosales won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3.

Drexel will have one more dual match, at Rider on October 25, before the conclusion of the fall season.
