Drexel University Athletics Partners with Comcast-Spectacor Subsidiary to Manage Corporate Sales

Drexel University has selected Front Row Marketing Services, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, to oversee and execute its corporate partnership program. Front Row will assist the Athletics Department with developing key relationships in the corporate marketplace in an effort to drive additional revenue and further develop the Drexel University Athletics brand.

Drexel University Athletics encompasses an 18-sport intercollegiate program at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association. The school boasts various athletic facilities in the University City section of Philadelphia as well as a University Boat House located on the world renowned Boat House Row. Over 22,000 students attend Drexel's 74-acre campus, which is located within walking distance of Center City Philadelphia. The Drexel men's basketball team won 21 games last season and the women's basketball team advanced to the Women's National Invitation Tournament for its third consecutive postseason appearance. Drexel will host the 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Quarterfinals at PPL Park and the 2013 NCAA Lacrosse Championships at Lincoln Financial Field. The University will also host the 2011 U.S. Open Squash Championships at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
