Los Angeles, Calif. -. Drexel's bid for an upset of No. 22 UCLA came up just short as the Bruins escaped with a 72-67 win at Pauley Pavilion in the season opener for both teams. The Dragons cut the lead to just three points and had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds but Damion Lee's three-pointer came up short.
