Women's Tennis Defeats City Rival La Salle at Home

PHILADELPHIA - The women's tennis team defeated city rival La Salle in a 4-0 decision at home. The Dragons are now 8-4 on the season.
The women swept singles in four solid matches. No. 2 Nicole Pivonka completed her match in two sets, going 6-0, 6-0. While Marcela Rosales repeated another victory, taking down her opponent, 6-0, 6-0. Temmates Emma Brook and Aysenil also won each of their matches in straight sets going, 6-0, 6-1, and, 6-1, 6-0, respectively. No. 1 Zeynep Mafa as well as Alex Bell ended their matches unfinished but in the lead.
The Dragons return to the court on Thursday, March 28 as they travel to George Mason for a conference match that is set to being at 3:00 p.m.
