Men's Squash Bested By Yale, 9-0

RESULTS
PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel men's squash team was shut out by Yale on Wednesday night, 9-0. The match, played at the Kline & Specter Squash Center, was the first for the Dragons since a 5-4 victory over Brown on December 7. Yale was ranked No. 3 in the nation coming into the action, while Drexel sat at No. 15.
Two Dragons managed to win sets from their opponents on Wednesday. Playing at No. 2, Michael Thompson bounced back from a first set loss to win the second, but ultimately fell overall, 11-7, 9-11, 11-5, 11-6. Noel Solomon won the first set at No. 5 before dropping the next three in an 8-11, 11-8, 11-7, 12-10 decision.
Harshil Dokania at No. 8 and Nat Fry at No. 7 also had noteworthy performances despite the loss. Dokania battled hard in the third set, falling 11-5, 11-6, 13-11. Fry went even further in his third set, but ultimately was defeated 11-4, 11-4, 14-12.
Drexel will return to action on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. when they host the top-ranked team in the country, Trinity. The match will be held at the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
