LAUREN HIBSHMAN – 2015 ALL-CAA FIRST TEAM
This comes as Hibshman's third CAA postseason award after she was named to the first team as a sophomore and second team as a freshman. The Allentown, Pennsylvania native ranks tied for third on the team with 10 points on four goals and two assists. All four of her goals have come on penalty strokes where she is a perfect 4-for-4 on the campaign. A leader on the field for Drexel, Hibshman is a top-caliber player for the Dragons as a defender, distributor and transition asset. She was recently selected to play in the NFHCA Senior Game in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday, November 21.
JESSICA McCARTHY – 2015 ALL-CAA SECOND TEAM
McCarthy is tied for the team lead with 12 points and ranks first on the squad with 47 shots and 27 shots on goal. Her ability to finish in high pressure situations has helped the team increase its scoring opportunities this year. Last season, McCarthy was named to the 2014 All-CAA First Team as a sophomore.
MEGAN WIEST – 2015 ALL-CAA SECOND TEAM & CAA ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
In her first year for the Dragons, Wiest led the Drexel freshman class with 10 points, which also ranked tied for third on the squad overall. Heading into the Friday afternoon CAA Championship Semifinal matchup with JMU, Wiest has four goals, two assists, 10 points, 29 shots and 13 shots on goal, figures that are tops for all first-year Dragons.
KATIE BAGDON – 2015 CAA ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
Bagdon earned starts in all 18 games for Drexel thus far in her first year, helping to anchor the defensive back line in 2015. With an immediate impact on the team, Bagdon boasts strong tackling skills and has been able to thwart some of the conference's top forwards during CAA play this year. The Holland, Pennsylvania native continues to develop offensively, totaling one goal and one assist for three points in her rookie campaign.
JENNA KNOUSE – 2015 ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Knouse has been a defensive leader for the Dragons in her four seasons in University City. Knouse not only excels on the field as the leader of the young defensive unit for the Dragons, but also in the classroom. The Elliottsburg, Pennsylvania native is a Fashion Design major and boasts a 3.92 cumulative GPA. She was named to the 2014 All-CAA Second Team and All-Academic Team last year as a junior. In 2012, she was also named to the All-Rookie Team. Her 2015 conference award marks her fourth postseason achievement with the CAA.
