PHILADELPHIA - Head coach Denise Zelenak and the Drexel field hockey team recently announced the addition of two players for the incoming class of 2015. Natalie Frost and Mary Conroy will be making their first appearances for the Dragons in the fall.

Mary Conroy comes to Drexel out of Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, New Jersey. Conroy played four years of varsity field hockey there, leading the team to the A-South regional championship in 2013 and 2015. A First Team All-Ocean County selection last year, Conroy led the team to the New Jersey State Group 4 finals last season. She was named a captain on this year's team. Conroy was a member of the Spirit Eagles JPOL Spring team in 2013 and the Spirit Eagles JPIL team in 2014. She finished her club career as a member of Jersey Intensity in 2014 and 2015.
Conroy, who also played two years of basketball at Southern Regional, is a National Honor Society member and intends to major in nursing at Drexel. She is the daughter of Mary and Thomas Conroy.

Natalie Frost will join the Dragons after a successful high school career at Oakland Catholic High School in Pittsburgh. Frost was a four-year starter for the varsity at Oakland Catholic, and holds the school record for most goals scored in her career. A two-time WPIAL All-Star, Frost was named to the WPIAL All-Section team in 2013. In both 2012 and 2013, Frost earned a spot in the Futures program, and was named a team captain at Oakland Catholic following her freshman campaign. Frost played on Pittsburgh's Team Golden Triangle for four years from eighth grade through 11th. She traveled with them to NIT qualifiers in 2013 and 2014, and attended the NITs in 2013. More recently, Frost switched to the Pittsburgh Venom.
Frost also played two years of lacrosse. She is the daughter of Donna and John Frost and intends to major in public health at Drexel.
