Dragons Down West Chester in Exhibition Play, 92-89

PHILADELPHIA - Kurk Lee led four players in double figures with 22 points as Drexel held off a pesky West Chester squad, 92-89, in an exhibition game at the Daskalakis Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons had four players score in double-figures.
In addition to Lee, the Dragons got 18 points apiece from Austin Williams and Tramaine Isabell. Troy Harper netted 10 points of his own. Drexel shot 41.1 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. The difference in the game came at the free throw line. Drexel went 38 for 50 from the stripe, while West Chester shot 22 for 34. Lee went 10 for 12, while Williams went 10 for 13.
West Chester's Tyrell Long led all scorers with 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field. The Rams' Frank Rokins led all rebounders with 13 boards. West Chester shot 47 percent from the field.
The Dragons will return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Villanova in an exhibition for charity to benefit the hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.
