Dragons Win Streak Snapped by Robert Morris, 74-60

Pittsburgh, Pa. - Robert Morris raced out to an early lead and went on to defeat Drexel, 74-60, at PPG Paints Arena. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Dragons and evened their record at 5-5.

The Colonials (6-4) never trailed in the game and led by as many as 20 points in the game. Drexel wasn't able to get closer than 13 the entire second half. Drexel's offense never seemed to get on track. Despite shooting 42 percent from the floor, the Dragons committed 18 turnovers and made just four of their 16 three-point attempts.

Kurk Lee led Drexel with 15 points. Tramainie Isabell came off the bench to score 12 points, while Sammy Mojica chipped in with 11 points, eight of them coming in the first half. Austin Williams was held to just six points, but did lead all players with 11 rebounds.

Dachon Burke had a huge game for the Colonials. The sophomore scored 25 points and was 6-for-8 from behind the stripe. Robert Morris finished the day with 11 three-pointers. Koby Thomas added 21 points and a team-best six rebounds, while Matty McConnell had a double-double with 10 points and 11 assists.

Robert Morris made seven three-pointers and shot 57 percent overall in the opening 20 minutes. Burke had 15 points in the first half and Thomas added 12. The Dragons had 11 of their turnovers in the first half, which led to 14 Robert Morris points.

The Dragons are off until will head home for finals week. Drexel will be back in action against Temple on Saturday at 5 p.m.
