Men's Tennis Defeats Wagner Sunday Afternoon, 5-2

PHILADELPHIA -- The Drexel men's tennis team downed the Wagner Seahawks Sunday at the Drexel Armory, 5-2.
With the victory, the Dragons improve to 8-3 on the year and are the winners of four straight.
After dropping the doubles point, the Dragons fought back to take the win in the singles competition. Hamza Laalej downed Anatoliy Lushkul in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 7-5, followed by Balaji Lakshmanan battling to a 7-5, 6-3 win over Dale Sandy. Sinan Orhon fought to a three-set win over Hans Orhner, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, while Youssef Lahlou took down Dylan Walters at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-4. Another freshman, Alex Zenonos closed out the match with a 8-5 win over Sid Anand.
The Dragons return to action Wednesday morning when they host Temple at Legacy Center.
