Swimming Finishes Weekend at the Virginia Tech Invite on Sunday

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – Select individuals from the Drexel men's and women's swimming teams finished up at the Virginia Tech Invitational from the Christiansburg Aquatic Center on Sunday evening.

WOMEN
Freshman Emma Thomas turned in top times of 59.83 in the 100 back prelims, 2:10.46 in the 200 back prelims, 57.95 in the 100 fly 'A' finals, 24.58 in the 50 free and 54.23 in the 100 free prelims.

Sophomore Kristen Shema finished with weekend bests of 25.38 in the 50 free 'B' finals, 54.68 in the 100 free 'B' finals and 2:00.14 in the 200 free 'A' finals.

MEN
Sophomore Greg Buckley had times of 54.78 in the 100 back prelims, 53.53 in the 100 fly 'A' finals and 1:59.63 in the 200 fly 'A' finals while junior Ted Dickerson finished with times of 1:46.29 in the 200 free prelims, 4:47.20 in the 500 free 'A' finals and 16:29.31 in the 1650 free finals.
