Men's Tennis Sweeps Saint Peter's Saturday at the Armory, 7-0

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team swept the Saint Peter's Peacocks on Saturday at the Drexel Armory in the Dragons' final match before spring break.

Drexel improves to 10-4 on the year, and 8-2 at home.

The Dragons jumped on the Peacocks early by sweeping the doubles point. Sinan Orhon and Kashyap Ashok teamed up for a 6-1 win in the top spot, followed by Balaji Lakshmanan and Alex Zenonos with a 6-3 win at No. 2. Daniil Ginzburg and Vuk Subotic partnered for a 6-2 win in the third. It was more of the same for the Dragons in singles. Lakshmanan jumped on Ivan Knezevic, 6-1, 6-3, followed by Zenonos' 6-1, 6-1 win over Seba Rojas. Youssef Lahlou downed Doug Nover in third singles, 6-2, 6-1, followed by Ginzburg's 6-1, 6-4 win over Gabe Russotto, 6-1, 6-4. To close things out, Ashok beat Jon Parades, 6-1, 6-1, while Subotic swept Justin Sin Prusita, 6-0, 6-0.

The Dragons return to action following final exams when they travel west for a three-match trip to California.
