Men's Diving Wraps Up Competition at PSU Diving Invitational

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Drexel men's diving team finished up competition at the Penn State Diving Invitational on Sunday afternoon, where Simon Carne and Joel Keefer each advanced to the finals of the 3-meter dive. Carne finished fifth overall to lead the Dragons in the final day of competition.
Carne posted a 242.35 in the finals of the event, finishing fifth overall behind divers from Penn State and La Salle. Loyola also competed at the Invitational. Keefer finished seventh overall with a 203.45 score int he finals.
In the prelims, Carne earned his spot in the finals with a 256.10, also finishing fifth. Keefer posted a 240.90 in preliminary dives, also seventh.
The Dragons will now enjoy a couple of weeks off from competition before the full swimming and diving teams get back to work at the CAA Championships Feb. 14-17 in Christiansburg, Va.
