NBC Sports Philadelphia to Televise 10 Upcoming Drexel Events

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel Athletics Department and NBC Sports Philadelphia have agreed to televise 10 upcoming sporting events over the next two months. The first event will take place this Saturday when the men's basketball team takes on the College of Charleston live at the Daskalakis Athletic Center beginning at 4 p.m.
"This partnership with NBC Sports Philadelphia presents our basketball, wrestling and lacrosse teams the exposure they deserve," said Drexel Director of Athletics Dr. Eric Zillmer. "We are very proud that our student-athletes are ambassadors to our University and this is an opportunity for them to showcase their talents to our fans and alumni throughout the region."
Three men's basketball games, two women's basketball games and a pair of wrestling matches will be televised in February and early March. In April, three lacrosse games, including a pair of men's games, will be seen live from Vidas Field on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
All 10 of these events can be seen on NBC Sports Philadelphia or NBC Sports Philadelphia+ in the Delaware Valley. In addition, the men's game this Saturday and the women's game on Feb. 17 against Northeastern have both been cleared in the Washington, D.C. area as well on NBC Sports Washington+. All three of the lacrosse games can also be seen on NBC Sports Washington+.
