Donovan Tabbed to 2019 CAA Men’s Soccer Preseason Team

RICHMOND, Va. – Sophomore forward Chris Donovan of the Drexel men's soccer team was selected to the 2019 Colonial Athletic Association Preseason Team on Thursday.
A season ago as a rookie, Donovan appeared in all 17 games for the Dragons with 15 starts to his credit. He finished third on the team with nine points behind three goals and three assists. Following the campaign, he was named to the CAA All-Rookie Team and the Philadelphia Soccer Six All-Rookie Team.
The Dragons went 9-5-3 in 2018 including a 5-3-1 mark at Vidas Field and a 4-2-2 record on the road.
Drexel begins its 2019 season on Friday, August 30 against Binghamton in Vestal, N.Y. at 7 p.m.
