Kachur, Heaton Lose in Molloy Semis

PHILADELPHIA – Dylan Kachur and Noel Heaton saw their seasons come to an end with losses in the semifinals of their respective Molloy Division brackets.
Kachur held a 2-1 edge over Enzo Corigliano of St. Lawrence in the Molloy North semis but suffered a pair of close loses in the final two games. He took the opener, 11-7, but dropped the second game, 11-6. The junior moved to the brink of the finals with an 11-4 win in the third game, but Corigliano won the next two by 12-10 and 11-8 scores.
Heaton suffered three successive 11-7 defeats to Yale's Harrison Gill in the Molloy West semifinals.
