Kutch Named to Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Swimming Team

PHILADELPHIA- Alexa Kutch was named to the 2019-2020 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women's Swimming and Diving Team for the third-straight year, the maximum number of times that an athlete can make the team. The team is nominated and voted on by the sports information offices of 30 colleges and universities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Kutch, a senior from Easton, Pa. majoring in teacher education, won four gold medals at the 2020 CAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Two of the golds were in the 100 back and the 200 back as Kutch became the first women's swimmer in CAA history to sweep both back events in all four years of eligibility. She also won gold with the 200 medley and the 400 medley relay teams.

Kutch is the only member of this year's squad to be a three-time selection.
