Donovan Named to United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region First Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chris Donovan of the Drexel men's soccer team has been named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's Atlantic Region First Team.
The senior adds the award to the long list that has been compiled in just his senior year. The Paoli, Pa. native earned the Philadelphia Inquirer Men's Soccer Academic All-Area Performer of the Year accolade on Monday afternoon. On top of that, Donovan also earned Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Year Honors and All-CAA first-team honors. Donovan was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 2 first team, the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List and was a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award
Donovan led the 2021 Dragons with 12 goals and a pair of assists, pushing his career total to 30 goals and 73 points, just five points shy of 10th in the Drexel record book.
The United Soccer Coaches organization continues its award season with the announcement of the All-American teams on Dec. 9.
