Dragons to Face No. 1 Seed Illinois in NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Drexel men's basketball team will face Illinois in the first round of the upcoming NCAA Men's Basketball Championships. The Dragons and Fighting Illini will play at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis Friday at 1:15. The game can be seen live on TBS and on Westwood One Radio. Drexel is the No. 16 seed in the Midwest Region.

Illinois (23-6) is the No. 1 seed in the Midwest region and won the Big Ten Championship earlier in the day on Sunday against Ohio State. The Dragons are 12-7 and earned the bid by winning the Colonial Athletic Association Championship earlier in the week.
